Dave
i fit one of them in the boot of an x-reg fiesta. with four folded chairs, four big rucksacks, four sleeping bags etc.. and four people. it were a squeeze but it did well. the problem you will have is the metal bit on the bottom and the wheels taking up a lot of space. the new trolley folds down real flat, its perfect. and now i have an astra which is loads bigger! jacketspud
I have given mine a paint job as it was made of cheap wood and it wasn't looking good after being left out all year - we Jack knifed her on the first trip down the big hill with daughter inside last year also we got a poncho or some large plastic stuff all wrapped up round our wheel while in the deep liquid mud (it was a pneumatic tyre but still got caught round the inside of it and so the wheel stopped turning so it only had one day out at Glastonbury and then left back at base after that!) Anyway ours has a lovely wagon type hood and although it wasn't very waterproof I added a shower curtain to it and it was sort of great till the wheel got stuck I am determined to take it again this year to carry all the stuff we take and so the paint job is underway - I am going to make it real old stylee Gypsy caravan feel and so Ive done the green gloss now just need to do the red detailed swirls/patterns etc

Em_and_Gif
Last year I took my bike which worked a treat 'til the pedal fell off. Even then we manged to get a six man tent, air mattress, bedding and sundries back to the car in one trip and the speedy liberty of pedalling, pre breakdown, along the train track half cut on a Thursday afternoon before the crowds were heaving was bliss. This year we're taking our van but I'll definitely be taking bikes again if only for visiting before Friday.
a robot
Cheers for the offer rusty but (adopting "i'm alright Jack" attitude) it wont be me using the B&Q trolley, i've got one of these babies ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-272KG-HEAVY-DUTY...1QQcmdZViewItem Got it for 16 quid from a local builders merchants and it's done me proud for 3 years so far Never did get round to naming it though! Kyelo
Although I use a fold away trolley in a perfect world I'd use a wheelie bin, they were made for the job!
peety
http://www.ukwheeliebins.com/wheelie-bins.html how about a 90 litre one of these, you can even choose the colour
greenfairy43
this is what you need note the very wide wheels, also holes in the wheels allow mud/water to flow through, good ground clearance for deep water fairly flexible, aids suspension, and after all its designed to be dragged over grass! yep, its going to be glasto number 3 for my golf trolley in 08! also it folds up, the wheels come off easily too which is good for packing, you can pick one up cheap in sports shops, or if you keep an eye out in your local charity shops, there is normally one in there going for next to nothing, i liberated this one off my dad! hulk mike
yeah that is the tricky part, last year i used long ice hockey skate laces to tie it on in a way that if things tipped one way they would pull against the string on the other side, stopping it from tipping, if you see what i mean? makes sense to me anyway! jacketspud
ok talking of punctures I may well have one after all my hard work so I am hoping I will be able to get an inner tube replacement - otherwise its going to be a large garden ornament
Staberinde
Always makes me laugh every year the trolley thread, personally I can't see any reason to take one, I like watching people struggling with them.
r0cky
Personally I always laugh at all the people that didn't bring a trolley! As I've said before, I ran on/off site, up/down hill-of-death effortlessy through the mud/water with zero weight on my back! I took loads of drinks with me, gazebo, others people's tents, as much as I wanted.

gizmoman
Any advice? I am short of boot space so need something that can fold. Is the one in the link above going to cope if it rains?
port
search this number on ebay.....230252590529 these dont take up much room as you can put stuff under it and on top of it in the boot, and they are very sturdy.
stuartbert two hats
I have seen a LOT of broken trolleys at this fest. Personally, I'd rather do multiple trips than use a trolley.
Splatt
I'm in the market for a new trolley this year. Looking at this Trolley. Anyone got any experience of using this - like the fact it folds down but not sure how tough it really is.
