Impact was just uterrly pointless last night. Some of the wrestling that they showed in between commercials was really good, but the people running this show are just clueless. The marriage stuff was funny in its own way, serving a purpose, but the Abyss segemt was just CHEAP. For a company which Kurt Angle claims could buy out Vince McMahon ten times over, you'd think they could made something even close to resembling a padded cell. anyway, its Abyss. Who has been stuck with the stupidest story in TNA History (quite an achievement if you think about it) so who gives a f**k? And then there was the Kurt Angle stuff, i changed channel while it was on.

Anyway, Judgement Day tonight. Predictions.

HUNTOR

Edge. Undertaker will put him in the gogoplata and be disqualified.

Shawn- Jericho to go full blown heel at the end

(I should point out here, I just had to go to wwe.com to get the rest of the matches. And be reminded that Jericho is still the IC champ)

Miz and Morrison

Big Show

Mickie

Cena

Its strange that I can only remember the three matches that any sane person in the world could possibly care about.

I'll do my predictions

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton (Steel Cage Match) - HHH

WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison vs. ECW Champion Kane & CM Punk - Kane & Punk

Undertaker vs. Edge (World Heavyweight Championship Match) - Edge

Women's Champion Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Melina (Triple Threat Match) - Mickie [only because I think its too soon for her to lose to title]

JBL vs. John Cena - Cena

Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels - Jericho

whats the Big Show match?

he's facing off against mark henry i think. It was on there before, and now they've pulled it. They did seem to be building it on Smackdown.

They need to go back to split brand PPVs asap. Two shows ago Big Show was in the second most high profile match at the biggest show of the year (after Shawn v Flair). Now, he's on a PPV facing off against Mark Henry with one weeks build. if it goes on at all.

So anyone watch Raw last night

all of a sudden they decide to rush the Regal - Kennedy fued, hang on, Reagl has been pushed hard for the last two months [with HHH's backstage backing], wins the King of the Ring, gets nearly the most heel time on tv, is pushed on TV by McMahon, then all of a sudden is buried on TV by McMahon, loses a loser gets fired match and to Kennedy of all people all of a sudden

something ain't right here...

a quick trip to WWE.COM will tell you why you get this feeling

''World Wrestling Entertainment® Suspends Performer

STAMFORD, Conn., May 20, 2008 - In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE® has suspended Darren Matthews (William Regal) for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s policy.''

I fear for Regal, thats twice in less than a year hes been suspended, he's at the near end of his career and when HHH's gets you pushed as a favour and this happens it makes HHH and the company look bad, plus if you have read Regal's book you'll know the nightmare he has had in the past with drugs, I fear for not only his job, but his life, he obviously has a problem which he hasn't sorted out, and WWE needs to force him to go to rehab if thats the case

I know what you mean about going back to the single branded ppvs, and everything suggests that it is time to go back to that format. But you need to think of it from a buys point of view. No one is going to buy a ppv because they want to see Carlito vs Cody Banks or Deuce vs Chuck Pulumbo; which is the sort of matches you get when they have to use the lower card at ppvs. If they intend on keeping the split brands, then split ppvs would be better in the long term (build up the lower and mid card wrestlers by giving them more tv time and slowly making people care about them), but since when has Vince ever thought about what's good for the wrestlers in the long term? Long gone are the days of the slow build, almost everything is done for short term gain.

The Wellness policy strikes again!

So this policy was introduced in late 05? And, for lack of a better term, enforced since July last year.

BULLSHIT.

If this policy meant anything, then Bobby Lashley would have been fired the moment it was brought in. Lashley was pulled from the 2006 Great American Bash for having "Elevated Liver Enzymes" which are apparently a direct consequence of oral steriod use. when Lashley was an amateur, he competed at 177lbs. During 2007, he must have been near 300. You cannot put on over 100lb on pure muscle without any fat naturally, and Lashley had an inhuman physique. I wonder how many drug tests he was actually subjected to? And why wasnt he suspended in 2006? I'm convinced this is one of the reason why Vince let him go with only a 90 day no complete clause. Post Benoit, Lashley would have bene the one with all the fingers pointing at him, that physique would have to have gone, and considering he's useless in the ring, and on the mic, what would be the point in keeping him? To be the new Chris Masters?

Now, I'm going to be nice here. I do not believe that John Cena is on steroids. I do believe however, that two wrestlers who participated in last nights Raw main event are. But they're protected. There is also one other person who was on Raw last night who I believe to be on the juice. But again, he's protected.

i'm surprised Regal isnt protected considering who he is friends with. But then again, he's not really pushed as a wrestler that much.

Ortons physique changes on a near weekly basis.

HHH is carrying now as much muscle as he was when he did his second quad injury last year. The man is a walking wreck and he's never had a particualrly risky style (unlike Shawn and Rey Rey) which is hard on the back and knees. His body is carrying an unhealthy amount of muscle which it cannot cope with. Thats why he's near constantly injured.

The other one is Big Dave. Another person who is constantly injured and broken down. No 41 year old can look like that.

Go and look at Randy Couture. Ok, naturally, he's a lot smaller than Big Dave and Hunter. but that man is nearly 45 years old, and is as fit as man his age and size could possibly be. And Couture looks like a very healthy person, and looks totally different from Big Dave and Hunter.

Not only is Big Dave 41. he's a GRANDFATHER.Randy Couture is the current UFC Heavyweight Champ. You shouild get a hold of UFC 68 and watch the build up to and his fight with Randy Couture. One of the greatest things I have ever seen.
