Cage Match - a personnal fave of mine Punk v Jericho, for me this match needs to get over 20minutes ring time at least so, im saying last half hour of the show dedicated to this

and 1st hour main event Rey v Kane, im guessing this will continue to the next PPV No Mercy

There is apparently a lot of heat on hhh since moving to SD.

Mainly because he has been making the young talent look a bit shit.

I really think that hhh has made shelton and j.hardy look good recently.

If that was the title event at wrestlemania I don't think HHH would necessarily win because vince doesn't want takers streak to end unless it is to somebody up and coming in the business who deserves it (rumours at the moment are dibiase)

Just read this online

- New images of WWE's SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 reveal that Festus, Candice Michelle, Jimmy Wang Yang, Cody Rhodes, Mickie James, MVP and Chuck Palumbo will be part of the roster. It's also confirmed that 8 Superstars will have alternate attires, with two of those being Chris Jericho and CM Punk.

- The PS3 special edition of the game will come in a steel tin and include a Blu-ray disc that features matches and making of videos.

- THQ's Cory Ledesma did a Q&A recently with IGN where more details on the game were revealed...

* The PS2 version will not support online play. Also, the PS2 version will include almost every single feature the PS3 and 360 version has but not all.

* The Wii version of the game will have interactive victory scenes where you can control your Superstar after winning.

* The alternate attires, an unlockable arena and other items are available in the Road to WrestleMania mode.

* This year's game does not feature a GM mode. The new mode features some of the features that has been in GM mode for the past three years.

* The Create-A-Stable feature is still in the game but is not listed under the Create Menu and is referred to as "Team Management."

no surrender was super shit last night.

everything was average. the mma fight was hilarious.

the crowd were not enjoying it in the slightest. fire russo and we want wrestling chants.

and for some reason they made sting say something that made it appear bret was in attendance, so stupid.

Depends how big the roster is, and when the cut off point was. I can't imagine there will be any massive ommisions, just the more recent debutants like R.Truth and Carlito's brother (who's name escapes me at this moment)

Festus will be great in the game... if he has his gimmick intact (ie the ring bell thing). I can't see it happening tho personally, as it'd be an awful lot of extra coding for such a minor character. I guess there may well be a story chapter covering it, but I don't see the point of including him if it doesn't flow through into the normal game as well. Image playing multiplayer as festus and being double hard until your opponent goes outside and knocks the bell :lol:

Did anyone have the SDvR 2008? I had 2007 and really enjoyed it, but skipped 2008 due to a ton of other games out there. How was the new 24/7 career mode system they put in? Was it more flexible/more enjoyable than 2007s, or was it just as silly? It's been replaced by a rather dubious road to wrestlemania system, so it can't have been that great. It always seemed silly to me that you can create a wrestler from scratch (with shitty stats) and then head into career mode and he's already a star and involved in storylines.

They strive for realism in these games... yet don't even manage to get the basics right.

Cheers, I had no idea what you wrote I just don't want to take a chance, with WWE PPV and Raw I don't think its as important as they're on sky live but with TNA its not on until later in the week which is crap and its harder to stay spoiler free

Raw BOMBED on Monday 2.6 rating are they surprised when they put on the cage match first?

They should have started had the cage down CM Punk comes out for the match, then Jericho comes out and says Im the world champion im the highlight of the show, Im not going out in the first match to defend my title, who do you think I am?

Adamle comes out and says you'll do what I say cus im the general manager, and Jericho says if you want me to defend the title then I'll do it in the main event like where a world champion should be defending his title

Adamle says thats all very well, but like I say this my show and you wrestle now or I'll strip you of the title

Jericho then says I'm the champion you should treat me with respect, you can't strip me of nothing, you can't do anything, I have 30 days until I have to defend this title before I can be stripped, I get my way and go on in the main event, or these people won't see me wrestle at all tonight, do you want that?

Adamle agrees, Jericho hgets over and looks strong and you have a good opening segment, then Adamle sucks up to Jericho afterwards backstage, Jericho says you weren't to know you're new in the job etc

Yeah but the rating just shows that wrestling isn't the most important thing going on in peoples minds

WWE just can't get out of this funk

watching No Surrender, and damn its a good PPV, very solid, with some great matches so far, in fact ther hasn't been a bad match or anything close to a bad match, Dutt v Lethal that was just on was a superb ladder match

You want me to report that I heard something about Jeff Hardy, but it's not confirmed, but if it's true, maybe he's in trouble. But then again, if it's true he may not be in trouble. But we're not sure if it's true or not. I could have written that when I woke up this morning. Would I get a prize for breaking a story.

Okay. Here's the story.

There are rumors regarding Jeff Hardy. Nobody can confirm anything. There is no arrest record on file. He's not fired. He didn't fail a drug test. But---there are rumors so something may very well have happened. But when don't know details other than lots of people are talking about it.

Pretty good news story, huh. A pity we didn't break it first.
