No Mercy sounded like a hell of a show last night.... deffinatley one I'll be checking out as soon as it pops up. Several match of the year candidates by the sounds of it.

Not sure I like this line in the report I've just read though:

No Way Out in February looks to be in Seattle and the February Elimination Chamber is now an annual tradition.

It sounded rubbish, everything about the WWE sounds rubbish, Ive lost the passion to watch it, Ive had the chance to watch No Mercy and Raw this week and have chosen not to

The product is just pathetic

I will be watching TNA every chance I get though and I am looking forward to Bound For Glory, Angle v Jarrett and Sting v Joe should be awesome matches, Jericho v Batista at No Mercy and Santito v a has been, no thanks doesn't interest me in the slightest

So the Iron Shiek dinner

comments....

If you're not aware of what went on...

A comedian called Jimmy Graham in his own words said this ''"Last night while roasting the legendary Iron Sheik, I told a fairly off color joke. I'll let you be the judge!

I said, "After the Sheik and Hacksaw Jim got caught sniffing coke in the parking lot his career fell faster than Owen Heart"

This didn't go over so well!''

what happened after that

well...

watch these

To be honest I think the comedian is a complete dick for making this joke and the guy says how much Owen meant to him and all this bullshit, he can't even spell his name right, well done Scott

By the way next year it will be 10 years since Owen died, and if WWE don't put him in the Hall of Fame then it just shows what a bunch of c**ts they are

And Davey Boy needs to be inducted and Bret as well

Bet doesn't need to be present and neither do any of the family as apparently Owen's wife has refused, so f**king what do it for the fans, they still remember

Watch on youtube the raw following Owens death, I watched it two weeks ago for some reason, and it is so emotional

Bret is already in the HoF, Bulldog has a very good case but his personal-demon issues might count against him.

As for Owen, and this might be a little controversial, but if he hadn't of died in the ring he'd just be a random mid-carder...

By the way you're entitled to your opinion and I don't know how much of WWE/F you have watched over the years, you might not have seen that much of Owen and really Im not going to argue about how we feel about Owen, because to me he was great, he is one of my favourite of all time and nothing will ever change that

I can't think of anyone who deserves to be the hall of fame more than him

I thought most of those were already in the hall of fame to be honest

Obviously Bruno & Savage aren't going in because of the fact they have bad relations with Vince

The Rock & Austin its a bit early for them although all things said and done their wrestling careers are over

and yeah I know all about Martha not wanting anything to do with WWE, but WWE should just put Owen in anyway

I believe they paired him in the nation to help get the Rock over, as they were the co-leaders of the group, Rock was just a midcarder doing nothing before that

Rock was in the Nation, but wasn't getting over as a heel, pairing with Owen helped him get over, of course it wasn't until Rock turned his back on the Nation and turned face and had that awesome Cage match with Shamrock and Foley that he truely got over

After that they didn't know what to do with Owen and he just went nowhere, I believe it didn't help that Bret had gone to WCW and was just being used in midcard too, if they had pushed Owen to the moon on WWE after he had been in Brets shadow the whole time in WWE, and Bret had just gone to WCW and was way down the roster, it would have made WWE look weak

In december 1997 they brought Owen back before the Nation thing and he attacked Shawn Michales at the end of the dx PPV, they made him look so strong and it looked as if they were going to put him in a title match with Michales but Undertaker got the title match instead and that was the match Shawn got injured in

Owen just got forgetten about

His prime years were definatly 1992 to 1997, I remember him getting the pin at Canadian Stampede, that was an awesome main event

lance cade has been released.

Haven't watched raw yet so i'm guessing he's written out of it otherwise it's just proving why i watch wwe now and don't follow it like i used to as a kid. He's been doing jack shit for 4/5 years, somewhere around there, and then finally gets used, had a pretty good looking finisher and gets released just like that.

Logic?

The reason because Lance Cade has been released is because he's been associated with the hottest heel in years, in the feud of the year and has shown precisely nothing in five months. So its hardly suprising.

I was never too hot on him anyway.

In more TNA biffoonery, apparently they've done an Angle where Foley quits TNA! Gotta love it.

I dont think so. The plan was always for Hunter to get the belt at Summerslam. There was no way Owen would be prepared for a world title push doing the comedy Blue Blazer gimmick, to get to the same level as Rock, Austin, Hunter, Undertaker and Foley.

Owens title chances were destoryed as soon as he f**ked up the piledriver on Austin in 97.
