rabid
Whatever personal prejudices help you get over your issues is fine with is Rabs! No need for any kinds of implication when it comes to your thoughts on your ex though is there!
Goblinz
Rabid, can't you see what a blow this is to Mr Munkay? I'm sure he doesn't actually see her as property to be stolen. his reactions are normal given the situaion at hand. It's not some random bloke that he doesn't know, but a good mate who he has helped out int he past in similar circumstances. Any anger is very well directed towards him and his ex. Getting involved with a mates girlfriend is not cool.

funkymunkey
He made one off-hand comment about someone stealing this bloke's previous girlfriend, which let's face it wasn't said with any sexist intent and you've taken this whole conversation away from it's core. Imo the best friend is a c**t, it's not just some random guy it's his damn best friend and he knew what the result would be. If someone is willing to put their supposed best friend through that shit then they're a grade A c**t, no doubt about it.
Peevis
Exactly. I thought I could trust both of them. More fool me. If she was unhappy with me then she should have talked to me about it, dealt with the situation or just left me, not made sure there was a safety net there for her. If he had feelings for her he should have stayed away. If we weren't meant to be together we would break up. If he didn't have feelings for her and he's just doing this because he's lonely then he is the lowest of the low. It really is indefensible. Lithium05
...and then there was one. I am now officially the only single person in my group of friends. As depressing as that sounds for my social existance (I am condemned to be out alone after 10.30pm on nights out from now on ) I was however given a refreshing statement from the last remaining domino before he fell (apparently I'm stood far enough away not to tumble myself) that "if he ever starts acting like the other spineless men in our group who let woman control there lives to the point they're told when they can and can't be out and how long for, to let him know straight away and he'll rectify the situation" now while I doubt this will definately be the case, I'm glad he acknowledged everyone elses failings and expressed a willingness not to go down the same path.... Of course if I were to be particularly cynical I could take it as a condesending "Awww your all on your own now, but I'll come and visit you in single town when I can afford the ferry from couple island"... damn those ferries not running after 10.30pm... Edit: Having just re-read that, and putting it alonside posts from previous weeks I'm now of the opinion that I lose it slightly on fridays! brighteyes
Bottled it. She had big curly blond hair and I couldn't match up to it. She was impressive. I was... less so. Also I forgot her name and found it difficult to compliment her after this point. And I ate a sachet of pepper on its own, for no real reason, I just like pepper. brighteyes
Tonight I struck out again. But I was too tired to put much effort in. The girl I really really fancy is blatantly a lesbian, she's got the sexiest eyes I've ever seen, they make my heart melt, but we reckon she only likes clunge. Also I managed to offend my friend's girlfriend, because I (somehow) found out that she's really dirty, and I started spreading rumours. She's only angry because she fancies the f**k out of me. That's not me being bigheaded, she's always frothing at the gash every time she's around me. Yep I've been watching The Inbetweeners tonight. funkymunkey
Went out last night to see a mates band and went to a club afterwards. Was doing ok, but it was a bit of a sausage fest, then I got a bit frustrated. Ended up crying in the corner. She's really f**ked me up. There's a girl coming over on Wednesday though. I used to work with her and she's quite nice...
