I do gig work at the Manchester Academy and MEN.

The main point is that over summer I am out at festivals, essentially from May to September. Most women I have met are unwilling to accept that. I think they get the idea it is just one long piss up <_<

A couple of years ago I hooked up with a lass at festival. We really hit it off, and she invited me over to saty at her flat in York. I went over and arrived at the train station in my "If Jesus Comes Back We'll Kill Him Again" tshirt, and received some odd looks. She invited some friends around, who were intensely boring (they all worked in a contracts dept). The weekend culminated with them all tecturing me that life is a serious business, and I should pull myself together.

The lass in question even said "You were really funny at the festival, but I have realised that you are the same in real life. Life isn't one long festival piss up you know". Well that ended that <_<

Ridiculous coincidence tonight. I was playing badminton at a not-very-popular sports centre in Cardiff (Splott), and who should be playing on the court opposite? That's right, number 10. I noticed her on the way in, but didn't think she had seen me. Luckily there was a big curtain between the courts so I could hide from her, as I still wasn't 100% certain it was her and I was scared.

But then on the way out we ended up walking towards each other, and I realised it definitely was her, and she recognised me, and then we had one of those awesomely awkward conversations where you just want to run away and chop your penis off as punishment for getting you into this stressful situation. It wasn't too bad in the end though, I managed not to say anything like 'Good game of badminton? Did you hit the cock hard?', in fact I think I avoided the word 'cock' altogether.

Really weird coincidence though :unsure:

It's easy to think that two people with (similar) problems can help each other as they understand each other. A lot of the time though it just means the problem is doubled in the realtionship.

That is sad, I'm trusting that you weren't seriously considering it. Why is she sending your son a cheque, didn't you make yourself clear enough? Is she trying to buy your approval?
