According to Wikipedia this guy has released two albums, in 2007 and 2009, and played several festivals in 2007, 2008 and 2009, none of which I was at. Given that my life no longer revolves around the discovery of new music, and that I am effectively a wage slave with very little time to devote to my true interests, is it really that surprising?

I'd fallen so far off the radar (see what I did there) that I had never heard of LCD Soundsystem either until last year sometime

I'm the best bird ever, if I do say so myself. Not only did I care not about celebrating our 'anniversary' last week but his birthday is coming up and I've got him a Wii fit board that he wanted so that he can get a snowboarding game along with tickets to see Kasabian which he has no idea I've got and it's on his actual birthday and I'm going to tell him we're just going out in Manchester for a few beers
