It's Mrs LW's birthday in a few weeks. We're very poor so she hasn't asked for much. I'm compiling her a CD (based on many hints she's dropped over the past 12 months) with a photo of the baby holding my guitar as the cover, and a DVD of Willo The Wisp. But she's also getting series 2 of Outnumbered on DVD.

I've booked the day off, so I'm sorting out a picnic for her - my parents have a nice conservatory in case it rains.

The whole thing is costing me less than £20, but I know it'll mean more to her than anything that costs a bomb. And she'd shout at me as it's our money!!

I can't wait actually - her first birthday as a mum.

yeah think i will from now on! one of these guys is absolutely gorgeous though so it's hard to stop myself from replying haha. don't know what to do about him, think he's abit of a player but every time i see him something happens - i just can't resist him! he lied to me about him and another girl and when i confronted him about it he somehow managed to turn the tables on me to make me feel bad. arghh

Ok here's a good one for you...

On Saturday night I was out with a couple of mates, one of them was a girl who I'm fairly good friends with (and also we doinked a couple of times a few years ago). It ended up just me and her in the club as my other friend ran off drunk somewhere. Some guys were annoying us on the dancefloor so I moved us away from them in to a corner. Out of nowhere she said to me "Don't do it unless you love me", presumably thinking I was about to pull her. She ran off after a few seconds of watching the very bemused look on my face...

This girl is going out with one of my very best friends, and has been for almost two years. I found her in the club and she basically said that she wasn't sure about her current relationship and that she has feelings for me, and she thought I might have feelings for her. I said that I did like her a lot but I don't want to go out with her - I don't want to go out with anyone. I think I did a pretty good job of making it clear that nothing would ever happen between us, without making her feel too inadequate. I told her that no girl could ever hope to fully tame the p-cock, obv. Then she cried on my shoulder for 10 minutes and I walked her home.

She texted me yesterday apologising for putting me in that situation and said she was very drunk, but I feel pretty guilty as I know her boyfriend is absolutely besotted with her, and I feel like it's not going to last. The awkwardness next time I'm with them both is going to be horrible, too. Hopefully she will decide she is happy with my mate but I never think relationships last when you find yourself thinking like she is, and she blatantly would have cheated on him on Saturday if I was still the selfish w*nker that I used to be.
