As a person who has been single for a long time and often goes months without "getting any", I can't stand people who cheat. If any of my mates talk about doing so I let them know I won't stand for it. You're either single, or you're commited to your gf, you can't have both (unless you have some kind of arrangement)

Edit:Though the double standard does come in if I don't particularly like the GF in question. That said the only reason I don't like a few of my friend's girlfriends is that they're so controlling they don't let them out of their site long enough for them to be able to cheat!

Do any of you have nether regions? Any sort of lust or sex drive.

Undserstanding is half the battle in my opinion, to simply deny it is more dangerous that accepting we are all human, all fallable and prone do doing stupid things, whatever our previous, rather hollier than though pretentions. People, who had not intention of doing so whatsoever, cheat all the time. Doesn't make them evil, or liars or worthy of hatred. An understanding of our ability to be idiots even against our own will would, IMHO of course, be a good thing.

The above realtionship dogma is simply all too black and white to me.

Sure, the next question is, what is she dumps on you? Well she did, and I had to leave her in the end, and I hated her a for a long time too. I much prefer myself now, 'cos I don't any more though. I don' think she meant or planned it, and I could take you to a place in time where we felt like you turkeys do now. It was wonderful and I'm mostly jealous of you. But acknowledging the fact we are animals is better than making out it simply doesn't happen to me, 'cos it surely bloody can, no matter how you feel now!

Not trying to depress you all. Just trying to add some realism to the response of she wouldn't therefore I don't need to think about it. However unlikely, she and you, are well and fully capable given the right circumstances.
