i have some stuff in my locker at work that i could go in and get - then go and ask her

something about asking someone out at work just freaks me out though, if it were anywhere else this would not be an issue!

There's a new girl at work i fancy, been chatting to her quite regularly but wasn't particularly keen on asking her out at the office (because of the close knit environment and getting rejected during work hours would shit all over my day!). I'm now out of the office doing training for 3 months and will likely not see her at all during this time. Only contact details I have for her is her work phone number.

Is it ok to ask her out on her work number or have I blown it?

if you can handle not seeing her for three months, you could ask her out for a drink when you get back? perfect excuse, ask her if she wants to go out for a drink to catch up. makes it seem quite casual so not a big deal if she says no.

my plan failed (as in didn't even really set off) but i definately caught him checking me out so we'll see... i'll be seeing more of him over the next few weeks.

i've never actually approached anyone myself before when sober. i'm not sure how to go about doing it! especially when i only ever see him in an office. (that i don't even officially work in!)

To restore parity on the thread, I called off my engagement about 3 weeks ago (the girl who's in new york at the moment and will be for the foreseeable future it seems!), we had just kinda drifted apart and it was never gonna happen
