Not been on e-fest boards for a while until; recently. I scanned first few pages of discussions and thought singles thread must've become a thing of the past. Glad to see it's still going.

spent the weekend with some mates who had gone to Paisley and hada a hard time from the locals.... untill it came to light that my friends had gone on holiday to Paisley and then it was drinks all round.

I think half the problem is that I dont really go many places where I would meet men... I dont go on nights out all that often as my settled down friends are all boring, and recently money for gigs has been scarce. Dont really go anywhere else where I would meet guys My life is so boring at the moment.

Tell me about it. I'm in the process of moving departments at the moment so about to take a pay cut - Just getting prepared for not being able to go out so much and staying at home. I think i need a cat!

Sounds like you have serious rejection issues!

I couldn't look after a dog, all that walking and the like. They're too needy and i really don't like being licked. I can't stand the idea of having to pick up dog shit either.

I'd rather have a cat (or 2) anyday. They don't mind being left alone (while i'm at work) and don't require walking twice a day. It'll be easier when i go festivayling too... much easier to ask somebody to come in and feed them once a day, rather than asking someone to come and feed and excercise a dog and keep them company.
