yep it's part of mirroring, it's a social skill that flatters the other person. I do this unconsciously all the time. On one occasion, unfortunately, I was deep in conversation with one of my lecturers and slowly became aware of much amusement from the rest of the group. It was because I had been unconsciously mirroring one of his mannerisms, and they thought I was deliberately taking the piss.

Hah :) i think i've done this on the phone with people..

In serious conversations i think i've changed my accent but when it's just a casual conversation i keep my voice the same. My accent got stronger when i started comprehensive school which isn't really a good thing because having a welsh accent can sometimes be seen as a disability.

I swear Welsh girls always have much stronger accents than Welsh boys.

And omg, just laughed out loud remembering you asking those guys at Glasto if they use condoms when they shag festival birds

Wow I can see why most of the guys on here are single.

I am a fat guy with a big heart and not bad looks. I find I always have girls interested in me but its not a 2way thing. The girls I like don't like me and the girls that like me I don't like. And im not one of those who will just go knob the girls that like me. I aint a slag.

Note - Tried it once went badly. Never try again.

I'm single because I am incredibly scared of dating, and I tend to go off the girls I think I like once I complete 'the chase'.

I'd also say that I'm very choosy. I've only dated one girl in the last 4 years. I don't see the point of overcoming my dating fear for someone who's any less than hot, clever, funny, finds me funny, has good music taste and is hot.

Edit: Also she has to be hot.

This is my problem exactly. Except the "girls" part. Because I like willy.

Anyway.

Apparently my problem is also that I do go out and drink on a regular basis, and apparently boys don't like that  And no, I don't drink to the point that I'm a passed out, throwing up mess. Because that would be somewhat unattractive.

hahaha i like girls going out a lot - but girls passing out throwing up is gross

now you see why after my first night out with Kim I went off her? Refused entry everywhere, her passing out/falling asleep in Manhattan, yea that was great..not

no ammount of fake tan/boob job made up for that!

Saw emily last night, the blonde that you said looks trashy, and she's actually really pretty when she ditches the slag outfits

haha :) Markee i would be the complete opposite of your ideal girl. I don't have a boob job, never plan on having one and i never use fake tan. Plus i'm not a 6/8 either :P

But thats ok because i don't want a guy whos obsessed with how i look, i want to be wanted for my personality and being me and want to be loved long after the 'chase'. That's probably because i'm not too focussed on looks either - doing things together, laughing, liking similar things, the odd stroke, and cwtch is what is amazing.

Looks don't last forever, but when you have friendship and companion who i am entirely comfortable with, thats what really matters to me. Someone who will still have you even when your in your pajamas with crazy hair :P

Nah I meant all sorts rather than just drinking. One of my pals girlfriend and me go to gigs just the two of us sometimes cause we like similiar bands. There are other friends girlfriends who I know well enough and have similiar tastes in music but never in a maillion years would that above happen.

It works with boyfriends too. Those that integrate seem to get on better and even become part of the group :P .

Although that realy realy sucks when there's a break up!

Gigs with other people are good :) I really need to get out more and find some gigging mates though.

My girls mean the world to me, but they prefer going out drinking than gigs and cinema etc.

Thats a massive problem with breakups. My exes mates and I used to get along really well and i used to go out with them even when he was in uni, they were even telling me how shit he treated me and that we should end it, and that they would still be mates with me, yet as soon as we did end it, most apart from one stopped talking to me!!
