I just need to figure out more places to meet new blokes. Internet dating sites aren't really working - i'm getting freaks, players and ones old enough to be my dad. I work in an all female environment, only come across men who are either in relationships/have baggage whilst working, never tend to meet guys at gigs, went to a wedding the other day and every bloke there around my age was coupled up, all my old school and college friends are married and/or have kids. Where is the best place to meet nice blokes? I've already made the mistake of chatting up my postman!

What's wrong with Postmen, they are civil servants, help the community and should at the very least be fit from riding their bikes all day long.

If you want to meet nice guys what you should do is try talking to them first as opposed to just being somewhere and expecting guys to chat you up.

I think that's a good shout.

Chatting up works both ways. Some guys don't realise girls like them. I'm on occasion terrible at realising that, so maybe the folk you've been going for have been like that too?

True, it's a bit hard when you don't smoke though because you can't exactly ask for a light if you don't have a fag to smoke.

Same with living far away from anywhere that does tidy gigs, that i have to leave straight after to get home :/

I like that cause it becomes more of a challenge type thing, if you meet nice folk to meet them somewhere later on, although 9 times out of 10 it does fall on its arse!
