ronaldo
It worries me when I see my friends going the same way. Not all of them though I do have some friends who are in couples where they are still both complete individuals and not some single entity, and I'm sure if I did suddenly get all "coupley" with someone the others would welcome me back. F*ck knows why being a couple is a prerequisite to being friends with some couples though. Maybe it's something that clicks in their brains when they get all coupled up that single people aren't mature enough to be friends with, or maybe it's the other halves being worried that if they're out with single people, they'll start acting like single people too. Lithium05
At least it helps you figure out who your real friends are (or discover you don't actually have very many!!! i.e. I don't ) Edited April 25, 2008 by Lithium05

ronaldo
Try being a 27 year old woman hanging around with a group of 20 year old lads and trying not to scare anyone!!! (Before anyone worries I do have other friends who are my own age and older, but pretty much everyone I'm camping with at Glastonbury this year is a 20/21 year old lad. I can think of worse positions to be in )

carley
Oooo I'm spitting feathers. My mate has just texted me cause she's broke up with her fella. They hadn't been together long, but she'd been really happy for the first time in a long while. Her husband broke up with her a couple of years back for no reason other than he wanted to be on his own, moved out, then kept messing her around at the most inconvenient moments (even spoiled her chances with a guy who she was starting to like, and came back just to change his mind and leave her again 2 weeks later), and had finally decided to file for divorce late last year. She's been really really happy with this new bloke, only now to discover he's been sending texts to his ex girlfriend and they're planning to get back together!! At the same time just happy stringing her along!! She obviously told him where to go, but she's really upset now-she thought he could have been something really special. If he wanted to get back with his ex, fine, he should have been honest with her. But noooooooo, just decided to think with his dick I suppose, have his cake and eat it. Now this isn't an anti-man rant, not tarring all men with the same brush! But I've known this mate since we were five and after all the crap she's been through, through no fault of her own, she deserves someone who'll treat her with the respect she deserves because she's lovely. Just worried now it's going to take her even longer to trust anyone again like that. Oooo it's a good job I live a fair few miles away now, I'd kick his sorry ass and then some

Katster
That's the spirit! After many nights out I get the feeling that clubs just aren't my kind of place. I am still uneducated in social protocol in such places. Nevertheless I'll no doubt end up in one tonight
Lithium05
I actually had a really good night on friday (not in that way unfortunately). My mate who is married with 2 kids was let off the leish for the night and proceeded in buying round after round of tequila Upon leaving the pub he went into Subway and ordered a sub with everything in it (the guy behind the counter managed to talk him out of meatballs and Tuna though) which he apparently ended up throwing all over the taxi he got home
