I found another reason i need a man in my life last night.

I had to take a wild mouse to the vet at 10:30 last night to get put down because my cat broke its leg and i was too wussy to do the job myself. Luckily he did the job for free (which probably means he threw it over the fence or something), he looked at me like i was some kind of weirdo <_<

Went out for a meal the other night for a friends birthday. At me and my only other single mate were sitting up one end of the table chatting to one of our coupled up mates while his girlfriend gave us evils! After a while she whispered something to him and he turned around to us and said "what are we going to do about you two, this can't go on much longer" refering to the fact that we should apparently have found someone to settling down with now like everyone else. We're 23 for f*cks sake!

He's not exactly setting the best example of "happiness" himself. He's always broke because he spends all his money on his girlfriend, despite the fact that she makes more money than he does, she won't let him move out of his mums house and get a flat with friends (despite the fact he wants to) because "renting's a waste of money", I could go on, but I'll stop there.

My friends are so co-dependent though it's unbelievable, it's assumed that if you invite someone for a night out it's assumed that you're inviting both. There's no such thing as a lads night out because no one would actually turn up if we tried. Essentially none of my friends are allowed to do anything that doesn't include their girlfriends apart from play football/golf on a Sunday morning. <_<

Yesterday I got wrecked in the beer garden all afternoon, evening and night. We went back to my mates house (which I was looking after) and got even more wrecked. The hottest guy in Tosco was there (he bores me to f**k but he's lovely to look at) and as they were all leaving he turned and said 'I would stay but.......' I said 'But what?' and then he ran off! Oh dear!! <_<

He did doink (boink?) another girl last week though (she was there last night too) and she really likes him and she is my friend so probably best he didn't stay really

It wouldn't be friday without me ranting about my friends. <_<

Honestly, I sent a text out yesterday to invite some friends round for some drinking/Rock Band/Mario Kart and the first one I got back was "**** and I will be there at 8" (**** representing his girlfriend who I didn't actually invite!)

It's not all bad though, tomorrow night I'm going out with my "back-up" friends (who are rapidly working there way towards being my main group) for one of their 21st birthdays, getting a limo and going to a south london club

To be honest I'm not holding my breath.

I've mentioned before that my friends aren't overly blessed with a great deal of self-confidence, most of them have settled down with the first girl to touch their penis (a few of them have only recently been introduced to the concept of a girlfriend) and seem afraid of the fact that, if they were to lose them they will never get another girl again. One in particular is the worst (the one who informed me they would both be coming tonight) he refuses to do anything unless she's there, she was ill a couple of weeks ago and he didn't come out on his own because "You don't go out and have fun and leave your gf in agony" - she had a sore throat, it wasn't terminal.

It's only polite!! No normal man wants to sit and listen to girls talking about 'girl stuff' all night long, and vice versa, anyway. Do they?
