weeee , I off for a bimble, If im not back in a few hours send out a scouting party to find me ... I might end up pissed up in the Krishna tent again , they alway look after me in there when i am leatherd .

thanks for that fionchadd - he is learning too but they are teaching him tab, do you think chords are easier? as i left him he was trying dont look back into the sun, and getting fustrated all ready - hope im not having to buy him a new guitar later lol

well i like picking, but i find the chords easier to learn, because you don't have to think about your left hand so much. but i am teaching myself. if he's getting too frustrated you could maybe ask his teacher? talk about the benefits of tab v chords? i really don't know enough to categorically state one way or the other!
