Had my interview earlier, and as usual I let my mouth run off with its big self. But sometimes I can't help it.

Q. As an advisor what do you think a claimant wants from you?

A. Firstly for me not to call him a dole scrounger?

Can't these people see I can't help it??

Good luck with that

Unfortunately I go offered the job, mainly because I had worked at the same grade before. I turned it down, as it really would piss me off. It's not the job it was the office I would have worked at, it had plenty of refugees from the CSA.

got a long-leet :D interview in 2 weeks for business manager for a secondary school wondered what a long leet interview was until i read the whole letter and discovered it said short leet interviews would be held few weeks after if successful at long leet!!!

presentation required on 'what skills do you have to achieve the priorities of the job' 10 minutes long, they turned a classic interview question into a presenation!!!!! god knows what the presentation will be if i get thru to final stage

Have you had an offer in writing "subject to references"? That's the stage mine is currently at. Resigned anyway!

I filled an application on 12th Feb and got the Disclosure through the post last week. Don't know if it was sent away as soon as I filled it in (suspect not - probably a week or so later).

Unfortunately I am an expert on CRB. For an enhanced disclosure it can take 8 weeks with the English CRB (often twice that), but I have had one through Disclosure Scotland within 2 weeks.
