I went to see about a job last Saturday, spent most of the day role-playing in their office doing the work that they do on a daily basis (well a simplified version of it).

There was about 20 of us there, got called today to go in for 2nd interview so fingers crossed :P

Got through to the next stage :P

Had a missed call and a voicemail at half 4 but glad I didnt answer as I was already in the pub :P

Now to get in touch with them and arrange a date I can go for an assessment centre

Just got back from travelling all the way from East Sussex to Swanage for an interview for Teaching Staff at an adventure holiday centre. Put in the application very late last Wednesday (the closing date) and had an interview offer by 10am the next morning! :P

Interview and activity afternoon was actually a lot of fun...worst bit was one of the team building exercises where my poor fellow interviewees had to lift me up in a challenge...it took me a while to calm down after that! The presentation talk and interview was a breeze compared to that!

I felt a bit of a nit all dressed up smart for the interview cos everyone else was in casual, adventure centre style get up! Doh!

RE: the above.

I applied for this job in October, had an interview in January, and apparently the results were sent out yesterday. So either way, I'm getting drunk this weekend. Either to drown my sorrows in a big bottle of gin, or to say 'YIPPEEE! JAPAN!'
