That's crap, the waiting must be killing you !!

I'm not even handed in my notice yet. Getting a job in the NHS is relatively easy but starting the job is a test of stamina. I've had to go to so many appointments to complete paperwork & have medicals I've used up all my holidays & some of them have been a complete waste of time. Still waiting for my final letter giving me a start date so I can give my 4 weeks notice.

Makes no odds to me really. For a while I would continue with both my other jobs anyway so it's not like I need to hand in my notice anywhere or anything. I'm still applying for other stuff too.

Congratulations Bunique, really good news for you.

As most of you know I started in my new job about 5 weeks ago now and although it was in my field, this area was very new to me, but this week I finally think its slotting into place, holding my own and glad I work here. I finalised scripts and am pleased with their quality, so all in all its good.

Apparently the panel were meeting yesterday in order to make a decision. I am to phone back on Friday to find out either way.

Nail biting time for me at the moment, especially with just having moved in......some extra cash would certainly come in handy right now, while I get used to being a mortgage and bill payer

Whilst typing that last post a letter has dropped on my door mat saying i've got an interview for another job I applied for. I'll be a professional interviewee at this rate

They are phoning me back, they still haven't heard from the panel......grrrrrr.

Apparently all the papers are on the lady's desk....she's going to 'try' and get them into some sort of order by Monday. If I ring back on Tuesday they should be able to tell me more.

Do I actually want to work somewhere like that anyway? I guess it means my job might be fairly easy...

I phoned them back on Monday and was told to phone again today. I've just phoned them and the lady on reception said she didn't *think* I'd been successful, but she couldn't remember

Sorry to hear of your job woes. I'm properly getting annoyed by my manager, he makes me feel so small and says the work I do is 'boring'. I have a couple of jobs I want to apply for so this has given me the added incentive to get the applications in!
