I hereby form a five person working committee with you two, @angelin and @Ayrshire Chris. We will present our findings to Rod in a physical meeting, which I'm sure he's keen to get sorted ASAP and we will save Glastonbury from a certain precipitous decline. We'll probably get free tickets for life.
If they'd pushed on after their Alexandra Palace gig they would be however they appear to have plateaued and are back on the way down. Poorly selling tour coupled with a fairly poorly received album would see them subheadliner at best in my opinion. Chuck them under Alexisonfire and it'll be an absolute treat (with the right setlist).
If Everton had won a trophy, it unquestionably would've elevated the reputation of Moyes' time at Everton, but yeah - given they were comparatively low budget in the PL for most of his tenure, their run for most of his reign to be consistent top 6 or at least top 8 finishers was excellent. I wonder if its slept on a little simply by virture of it not yielding the big win.
Maybe if they'd stuck the landing after taking the lead inside the first minute against Chelsea in the 2009 FA Cup Final.
