NME have reported that the Happy Mondays are to play at this years Glastonbury Festival - saying that they are to play on the Pyramid Stage third from last on the Sunday, before Embrace and David Bowie.
We hope that their performance is better than a previous one in 1990, when the truely awful nature of their performance managed to empty the field so fast there were crushes to leave the area! That visit to Glastonbury is one of legend - the Mondays were at their infamous drugged-out worst, and were reported to have printed their own passes, resulting in half of Manchester being backstage.
Meanwhile, the Cypress Hill website has them down as playing too - it says they will play on Friday 23rd, and we expect to see them in the Dance Tent.
Speaking of the Dance Tent, although no stage or day has been officially confirmed for Fatboy Slim's confirmed appearance, the Radio 1 website are reporting that he'll play in the Dance Tent on Saturday.
