According to this weeks nme, their list of bands likely to play Reading and Leeds festivals are: Linkin Park, Jay-Z, System Of A Down, Audioslave, Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, The Vines, The Music, Glassjaw, The White Stripes, Jet, Idlewild, The Basement, The Sights, My Morning Jacket, The Mars Volta, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, JJ72 and The Flaming Lips.

However, The White Stripes are also rumoured for V2003, and it's highly improbable that they would play both. As they played Reading and Leeds last year, we'd plump for them doing V.

Metallica have already confirmed themselves (at Leeds on Friday 22nd August, and at Reading on Sunday 24th August) in their published tour dates.
