Three more bands have been announced for V Festival - which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the 16/17th August.

Frontman of The Charlatans - Tim Burgess - has been added to the 2nd Stage. This is the first time Tim has played a solo gig, and he'll be using it to showcase his own material.

Also on the 2nd Stage are Killing Joke, who release their first new album for nine years on July. Added to the JJB/Puma Arena are Kosheen.

They join the bands already confirmed, such as headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay, as well as Foo Fighters, David Gray, PJ Harvey, Queens Of The Stone Age, Ash, Underworld, Feeder, Super Furry Animals, Morcheeba, The Hives and more, with still more to be added.
