According to a report in the Daily Record on 6th December, The Darkness are to close the Sunday as headliners at next years T in the Park.
They played this year - opening the Main Stage on the Sunday - and attracted a huge crowd, whilst other stages at that point had just a handful of people watching.
David Bowie is already confirmed as one of the headliners, it saying on his own website that he's playing on the Saturday. Channel 4's PS:News reported yesterday that Muse say they are playing, while we've also heard that they said the same at a recent gig.
T in the Park takes place at Balado near Kinross on 10th and 11th July. Weekend tickets are already on sale, at the "early bird" prices of £70 for both days, and £83 for both days with camping. Ticket prices are expected to cost more at the end of the early bird period (which isn't known, but is normally around the beginning of April).
