The Charlatans return to T in the Park for the fourth time, to play a "greatest hits set" on the Main Stage on the Saturday, just before The Darkness.
Although not explicitly stated, we presume they're a late booking, made to fill the slot now vacant after David Bowie cancelled due to illness. It's already been announced that The Darkness will step up to headline in place of Bowie.
They join the line-up which includes The Darkness, The Strokes, The Pixies, Faithless, Pink, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Muse, The Libertines, and Wu-Tang Clan. Check out all the confirmed acts here.
T in the Park is sold out, and the organisers advise those without tickets not to turn up at the festival as no tickets will be available. Some people may succeed in buying - at face value - unwanted festival tickets at www.scarletmist.com. ScarletMist has been set up to allow people to exchange festival tickets at face value - it's private, confidential, quick, local, and best of all FREE to use. ScarletMist does ask that its users who get or sell a ticket make a small donation to charity.
