More bands have been announced for the NME Radio 1 Stage across all three days at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, which both take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August, with Reading festival at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds festival at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

New At Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday are Death From Above 1979 making their UK festival debut, as well as The Dead 60’s, and Blood Brothers.

New for Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday are Juliette & The Licks, Nine Black Alps, The Cribs, The Longcut, and Editors.

Finally new at Reading on Sunday and Leeds on the Friday are HAL, Sons & Daughters, The Rakes, and Art Brut.

They join the bands already confirmed for that stage, which include Kasabian, The Tears, Bloc Party, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Babyshambles, The Futureheads, and loads more, plus bands on the Main Stage including headliners Pixies, Foo Fighters and iron Mainen. Weekend tickets and day tickets for Reading Festival are sold out, while Leeds Festival still has some day tickets left but only to personal callers at the following HMV stores: Barnsley, Birmingham High Street, Birstall, Bradford, Doncaster, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Wakefield & York.
