The Radio 1 Lock-Up Stage has been announced for this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals.

Replacing (or perhaps just a rename for) the Concrete Jungle Stage, the Lock-Up Stage is at Reading on the Saturday, and at Leeds on the Sunday. At Leeds, The Transplants headline, while at Reading they are to perform on the Main Stage. The rest of the line-up is the same for both sites, and has Bad Religion, Hatebreed, Anti-flag, Rise Against, Eighteen Visions, Dwarves, Capdown, Million Dead, Emanuel, The Explosion, and No Comply.

The line-ups for both festivals include the headliners of Pixies, Foo Fighters, and Iron Maiden, along with The Killers, Kings of Leon, Marilyn Manson, Queens of the Stone Age, Razorlight, Incubus, and many more. For the full confirmed line-ups to date, click here for Reading and here for Leeds. Many more bands will be announced over the coming weeks, for a total of six stages.

The Reading and Leeds Festivals both take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August, with Reading festival at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds festival at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Weekend tickets and day tickets for both Reading and Leeds Festival are sold out.
