Guilfest set for world record

Ever wanted to be a record breaker? Now is your chance as Guilfest are going to set the World Record for the biggest air guitar ensemble ever!

The attempt will take place on Sunday 17th July, the same day that Status Quo headline on the BBC Radio 2 Main Stage.

Festival Co-ordinator Justin Coll said, "Hardcore Status Quo fans are pretty much all equipped with air guitars, but there will be an air guitar for everyone on the 17th July when we look to set the record. We want everyone to get involved, and lets be honest, who wouldn’t want to say they were a world record holder?"

Air guitaring legends - including Farmer John the UK Air Guitar Champion - will be on hand to offer training to new musicians so everyone can get the best from their air guitars!

So if you want to be a record breaker, come and join the fun at this years Guilfest, which takes place at Stoke Park, Guilford, Surrey from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th July.
