Download Festival - which takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th June 2006, at Donington Park, Leicestershire - has announced more acts, the day and stage splits, and that day tickets are now available.

Newly confirmed are Sick Of It All, In Flames, Atreyu, The Audition, Johnny Truant, Devil Driver, Mendeed, Moneen, and Winterville.

They join the acts already announced, which include Metallica, Guns N' Roses, The Prodigy, Korn, Deftones, Trivium, Clutch, Bullet For My Valentine, Lacuna Coil, InMe, Within Temptation and Hatebreed. The day and stage splits are now available - click here for all the details.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £115 for the three days, or £135 including camping and parking. Parking is £5 in advance or £10 on the day. Day tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 3rd May, priced at £55 for any day. There are now less than 6,000 weekend camping tickets available, so if you want one don't wait too long!
