Summer Sundae Weekender - which takes place in the grounds of De Montfort Hall, Leicester from Friday 11th - Sunday 13th August has announced the line-up for the brand new eFestivals Cabaret Tent.

Brand new for 2006, the tent will feature top name headliners HOWARD READ, star of BBC Threes Grown Ups ROB ROUSE, Perrier nominee JASON MANFORD, MARKUS BIRDMAN, not to mention REGGIE WATTS, (WINNER of the 2005 MALCOM HARDEE AWARD for his Edinburgh show The Reggie Watts Tangent.)

New comedic talent will include JAMES BRANCH, (Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2006), comedy circuit stars MARKUS BIRDMAN and TOMMY CAMPBELL and local favourites JIM SMALLMAN and MATT HOLLINS.

eFestivals has a commitment to support UK festivals with 10% of our turnover, and is delighted to support one of the best events in the festival calendar by sponsoring the eFestivals Cabaret Tent at this year's Summer Sundae.

The eFestivals Cabaret Tent will be one of the main focal points of the new market area at Summer Sundae and is programmed by Leicester Comedy Festival, the UKs longest running comedy festival.

The line-up at Summer Sundae this year is one of the most exciting in the festivals history, bringing together an eclectic and exciting collection of performers. The reputation of the festival is one that champions new and innovative music and is sure to grow.
