w/e with camping £140, we/ without camping £120, days £62.50 (no Friday tickets) - SOLD OUT
Daily capacity: 75,000
Tickets went on sale at 9am today for T in the Park, being held at Balado, nr Kinross in Scotland, and now a three day festival happening from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July, and sold out in just 40 minutes.
35,000 tickets were put on sale for 2007s event back in July, and sold out in 70 minutes - meaning that there weren't huge numbers of tickets available today. However, festival organiser Geoff Ellis has said that they'll be further tickets on sale in the coming weeks.
"While we thought that the T in the Park tickets would sell out quickly today, we are amazed that it has broken its own record as the fastest selling festival in the UK. Once again T in the Park fans have shown how much they love the festival and we look forward to seeing each and every-one of you there!T in the Park strongly advises fans not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources or website auctions, as not only will they have to over the odds but there is a high chance that the ticket will not exist or will be a fake.
However, if you did not manage to get your hands on a ticket today then I urge you not to turn to unofficial online outlets or internet auction sites. Not only would you have to pay well over the odds, but you may be paying for tickets that do not exist and therefore you will not gain access to the festival.
Once the final capacity for the site is agreed, multiple bookings are made void and where possible, online lots are cancelled, a second batch of tickets will go onsale in the coming weeks. To be the first to find out when these tickets will become available then please sign up to tinthepark.com."
