T in the Park, held at Balado, nr Kinross in Scotland, and now a three day festival happening from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July has announced that more tickets will go on sale at the end of the week.

There will be approximately 1,000 tickets per day, for both the Saturday and the Sunday. These tickets have been recouped through a number of sources such as the cancellation of multiple booking and resold tickets. They will now be put back on sale to genuine music fans at 9am on Friday 8th June.

Tickets are priced at £62.50. To buy click here. Note there will be no tickets available to purchase in person.

Geoff Ellis of DF Concerts said "We are delighted to be able to out these extra tickets on sale, especially as it will give music fans another chance to attend the festival if they didn’t get tickets the first time round. The Ticketmaster system that cancels multiple bookings is another way of continuing the fight against ticket touts and therefore protecting genuine music fans"

In other T in The Park news, more bands have been added to the line-up.

Added to the Radio 1/NME stage on the Saturday are The Thrills and Blood Red Shoes, with You Say Party! We Say Die! added to the Sunday.

The Cinematics have been added to the King Tut's Tent on the Saturday, and The Hedrons and Union of Knives on the Sunday.

Mark Lanegan & The Soulsavers, The Dykeenies, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and The Metros have all been added to the Sunday line-up in the Pet Sounds Arena.

Reverend And The Makers and Kate Nash are the latest acts set to grace the Futures stage on the Saturday, and Justin Nozuka and Milk Teeth will both play the Sunday.

With the line-up nearly complete, T in the Park has acts including Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, The Kooks, My Chemical Romance, Kasabian, Queens of the Stone Age, and loads more - for all the acts so far announced click here. Note that the Friday entertainment will only be available to those with weekend with camping tickets.

T in the Park strongly advises fans not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources or website auctions, as not only will they have to pay over the odds but there is a high chance that the ticket will not exist or will be a fake.
