Amy Winehouse and Underworld to top Bestival line-up

Plus loads more announced including Will Young, Hot Chip, and Stereo MCs

Amy Winehouse have been confirmed as the Saturday night headliner and Underworld as the Sunday headliner for the fifth Bestival celebration with more acts added to the party line-up heading for Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight.

Also announced for the line-up to appear over the weekend from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th September 2008 are live acts that include: The Sugarhill Gang (an English Festival Exclusive), Hot Chip, Paul Heaton, Will Young, Chromeo, Santogold, The Coral (Acoustic Set), Stereo MCs, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Late Of The Pier, Does It Offend You Yeah?, Roni Size Reprazent, Lethal Bizzle, Dub Pistols, Hadouken!, The Black Kids, Laura Marling, and Ida Maria.

With just six months to go until Bestival's 5th birthday the festival organiser Rob da Bank, sat, "It's such a nail biting experience unleashing our line up to the faithful Besti family but I can honestly say his year's line up is my favourite so far – underground and experimental business from Aphex Twin to My Bloody Valentine, funky stuff from George Clinton and Jamie Lidell and now we can add new kids on the block Black Kids, Laura Marling and Santogold, techno legends Laurent Garnier and Carl Craig, Bestival veterans of four years out of five and our musical mascots Hot Chip, The Coral with a special acoustic set and the finest female, nay solo, performer out there Amy Winehouse! Also we're ecstatic to announce Underworld are back taking their rightful position in a Sunday night headline slot – All that plus an acid brass band, a cockney knees up every night and umm, more toilets!"

There's also more DJs announced for festival held on the the Isle Of Wight including: Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Zane Lowe, Alexa Chung, Coldcut (Av Set), DJ Yoda, and Annie Nightingale.

And just when you thought that was it, even more names have been added! As well as the music, Bestival has the world's biggest fancy dress party, the Bollywood cocktail bar, Jestival comedy tent, a farmers market, secret stages, kids area, Morris dancing, magical moments and more, which makes this affair one of the most colourful events on the festival calendar.

Ticket Prices - Adult Tickets: £130. Adult tickets are for anyone aged 16 or over on 05/09/2008. Ticket holders aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*

Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets: £65. Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets are for anyone aged 13 to 15 on 05/09/2008. Child ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*

Age 12 & Under Child Tickets: FREE (ticket required) Age 12 & Under Child Tickets are for anyone aged 12 and under on 05/09/2008. Child Ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*
*NB: One ticket holding parent or guardian can only accompany up to 4 people under the age of 18.

Campervan Tickets: £50 (per vehicle). Your Campervan must be specially adapted for people to stay in (which does not include transit vans with a mattress in the back or 4x4s with the seats folded down). If your vehicle is longer than 7 metres you will need to purchase two Campervan Tickets. Cars will not be allowed into the Campervan area at any time so consequentially Caravans, Trailer Tents etc are not permitted.
All Tickets include camping. All tickets purchases will incur a booking fee.
