nearish to Salisbury, but somewhere in Dorset, England
adults £75; kids (10-15) £40; under-10s £10; family (2a+2c) £210

The family friendly Endorse-It In-Dorset Festival have revealed the line-up of merrymakers hosted by MC Bentley (the drinking ladies Jethro), who will be providing the laughs over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August.

This year audiences can expect top drawer entertainment from world-wise chic chick, trashy tramp, and frisky Midlands' lass Susan Murray. Stand-up comic Tim Ewins returns this year with more laughs and funny songs to share, and with him the joint winner of last year's EIID's Scrumpy Comedy Prize Susan Vale. Another comic making his return is Ian Cognito who had the tent in stitches last time he graced it with his presence.

Also, exclusively revealed for Endorse-It is Hack Saw and Lobotomy who are more familiarly known in their other guise as Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs. The terrific rock'n'roll poet Paul B Edwards and stand up from festival infused Del Strain complete the billing for the comedy tent.

On top of all this will be the famed Endorse-It In-Dorset Scrumpy Comedy Prize, where comedians of varying degrees of experience will be battling it out for the top prize of Bentley's secret recipe cider that's only brought out once a year – for legal reasons.

As well as the side splitting comedy, the festival also has some great music on offer. For the line-up of who is playing so far, please click here. The bill includes some festival gems like Buzzcocks, Back To The Planet, Inner Terrestrials, Dreadzone, The Beat, Pronghorn, Goldblade, Subgiant, Cropdusters, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Imperial Leisure, The Highliners, Fat Drunk & Stupid, Six Nation State, Arno Carstens, Steranko, and Optic Nerves.

New this year and exclusive to Endorse it will also be Pub Joke Karaoke, where willing audience members get the opportunity to get up on stage and try their hand or more appropriately, stain resistant trouser power, live on stage. Not to worry as the jokes are pre-written and there will be a couple of caustic put-downs to deal with any hecklers brave enough to do any 'back seat' comedy. This new experience joins the Punk Karaoke and AXE Factor helping to make Endorse it this years most interactive festival of the year!

Endorse-It In-Dorset takes place near the village of Sixpenny Handley in the green open setting of Cranborne Chase, Dorset. The festival is a safe, family friendly old school type of festival, with a reputation for quality entertainment at an affordable price.

Those visitors attending can also a great kids' area, lots of food, tasty beer, stalls, tipi hire, loadsa loos, family camping, healing area, chill-out area - all the usual things that make this festival such a nice experience.
