Latitude Festival held at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, has announced more entertainment for the festival which is held from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July.

The latest new additions to Music & Film Arena include English composer, pianist, librettist and musicologist Michael Nyman who will be presenting a programme specifically for the intimate environment of the Arena. Performing as part of Chris Shepherd's afternoon of shorts, films, music and artists, Jonny Trunk presents Vision On; a show that nostalgically focuses on the 1960s and 1970s programme of the same name.

The Music and Film Arena will also play host to Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn Film Festival, a comedy short film festival for adults only. The Last Tuesday Society, a Pataphysical organisation famed for its dances, themed evenings events and talks centred on the world outside of the metaphysical will be bringing something unique, fascinating and slightly disturbing to Latitude.

Latitude has also confirmed more artists performing on the floating stage on the lake. Rafael Amargo flamenco dancer and choreographer, brings his 'Tiempo Muerto' to On The Lake at Latitude, and also dancer Riccardo Meneghini will be performing 'Carry on Tripping'. Dance theatre company Helix Dance brings 'Damned Beautiful' which draws on the Oscar Wilde novel 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. Damned Beautiful sees Helix Dance once more collaborating with Cuban/New York sound artist César Alvarez, and features costume design by Kate Lane.

Coming to Latitude's Literature Arena is cult songwriter Pete Atkin with his famed body of work 'Midnight Voices', novelist Paul Torday, and publicity guru Mark Borkowski.

Also added today to Latitude's Cabaret Arena is the self proclaimed king of cabaret Lenny Beige. There will be more laughs in the Comedy Arena with a brace of comics Phil Kay and Michael Fabbri added to the bill.

They are the latest additions to an extensive bill of acts headlined by Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, and Interpol with other acts like Julian Cope, Martha wainwright, British Sea Power, Blondie, Death Cab For Cutie, Seasick Steve, Crystal Castles, Elbow, The Breeders, Amadou And Mariam, and M.I.A.
