GuilFest, the three day family friendly festival held from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2008 at Stoke Park, Guilford in Surrey.

Wallis Bird has been added to the main stage on Friday, Little Man Tate on Saturday, and Never The Bride, and Boss Hog play on Sunday.

There's a new addition on the Ents24 Stage on Saturday with Sennah added to the bill. In the Rocksound tent The Rushing, The Infidels, The Plight, Truth Tells Lies, Kenelis, The Mirimar Disaster, White Sunday, and Flyin Ike.

The Funky End stage has announced a raft of new additions Radioactive, Bazza J, Javier Espanol, Ryan Kemp, Andi Warren, and KJ and Jazz John all join the bill on the Friday headed up by Hallucinogen.

Joining Krafty Kuts on the Saturday are Wilmsy & Brom, Freshold, 101 Connection, Agent Smith, Uncle Jimmy, Holly Bee, Tracy and Stewster, and Dave The Hair.

The Sunday will see X-Press 2 headlining the Funky End with Hutchinson Bros, Leatherhead, Ben Pineapple Tribe, Groove Therapy, Johnny Luv, Diversion Tactics, Fonz & 2D, and Kashmir.

The Live Club Stage has added Avondale 45, Time For Action, KiZmiT, Zombie Met Girl, Chop Chop: Bear, Touch?, Helium Soul, The Wot Nots, The COLOURS, and The Volcanoes.

There's a host of new additions on The Surrey Advertiser LiveClub Stage including The Dirty Chimes, Polyorchid, Rhizomes, Happyland, Joker In The Pack, Two Finger's of Firewater, Theunissen, The Manalishes, Blind Vision, Laura Colegate, Velvet Razor, Macavity's Cat, New Rising, Stagecoach, Alien Stash Tin, District 6, and Doctor Pop!.

This year the UNISON Zone at GuilFest will have performances from Gallows Humour, Moses Fireblade, Well A Live, The Pete Fryer Band followed by the Mighty Redox, The Fabulous Fezheads, Eric Faulkner, Tony Benn celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the NHS, Dodgy, KiZmiT, Avondale 45, Time For Action, Sonic Boom Six, Wills and the Willing, and The Dirty Ugly Punk Monkeys.

There will also be Unsung Heroes Live Sessions at the UNISON Zone where festival goers just need to turn with an instrument of choice and play. There will be a standard drum kit, backline and pa all provided. Anyone who would like to perform in the Unsung Heroes Live Sessions, needs to contact the stage manager(s) on the Friday and they will say what session times are available. The Unsung Heroes Live Sessions are open to all GuilFest visitors.

The bill for GuilFest already includes The Levellers headlining the opening night on Friday. Blondie headlines on Saturday and The Australian Pink Floyd Show will bring the festival to a close on Sunday. Other acts confirmed include British Sea Power, Wills and the Willing, The Egg, Hallucinogen, KraftyKuts, Zucchero, Kula Shaker, From the Jam, Fightstar, Cerys Mathews, Freak Power, The Aliens, Bowling for Soup, Richie Havens, The Damned, Seth Lakeman, Royworld, Babyhead, Sonic Boom Six, and Dreadzone. The line-up on the main two stages will be further filled with more classic and modern acts, more than 200 in all will be announced for what will be a truly fantastic weekend. Unlike some other festivals, you can immediately feel that this festival is being run to give everyone a great time, rather than to get rich quick!

Visitors to Guilfest can expect not only a great weekend of live music, but also comedy, children's entertainment, street theatre, art and crafts, delicious food from around the world and a truly festive atmosphere. There will also be a late licensed 150 foot bar and a cocktail bar, an extensive children’s area, The KidZone.

The Kidzone is packed full of games, stilt walking, balloon modelling, face painting and drawing. On the Sunday it's over to the children for the annual Kids Parade, where the children get to show the rest of the festival what they have made over their weekend.

Tickets are on sale priced as follows: Adults - £40 day, £90 weekend, £100 weekend with camping. Children between 12 – 16 years old - £30 day, £50 weekend, £60 weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult. Camper vans tickets are £80 and are only valid in conjunction with an adult with camping ticket.

You can either camp for the whole weekend, or just come for one day. The music starts at around 5pm on the Friday, and noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Music finishes at 11pm on Friday and Saturday, with an earlier 9:30pm finish on Sunday.
