Bloom adds Caged Baby, Evil Nine, and Just Jack

Bloom 2008 which takes place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August at the new location of Seven Springs, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire has announced more acts, doubling this year's line-up of confirmed artists.

The newly announced artists confirmed to play Bloom include Caged Baby, Deep Groove, Evil Nine, Just Jack, Soul of Man, and Trojan Soundsystem.

They are joined on the bill by Another Fine Mess, Average White DJ, Barry Adamson, Buoyancy, Chew the Fat!, Chris Woodward, Dan Foat (Phonica Records), Darius Syrossian, Detectives of Perspective, Dim Sum, DJ Shine, Dom Kreep, Drum Club, DrumAttic Twins, Dubnium, Dubnium DJs, Elite Force, Finger Lickin' 10 Year Anniversary, and Futureboogie.

Furthar additions include Good Groove, High Contrast, I Ruff, I-Dread, Jaymin Doe, Kathy Diamond, Lady Free, Luke Solomon, Maurice Fulton, MC Tenja, Mids, Neil Thornton & Johnny Hiller (Lasermagnetic), Nick Luscombe, Nookie, Paul T, Phonica Records, Qumulus, Riton, Rob Mello, Shades of Rhythm, Slyde, Soft Rocks, Tawdry-G, The Blast, The She Creatures, Thumbs Aloft, Tommy Rio, Two Long Peoples, Urbanite, Kid Blue, and Paul Arnold.

The artists previously confirmed include Akil The MC (Jurassic 5), Autokratz, The Black Seeds (Sonar Kollective), Brand New Heavies (Original full live band), Ewan Pearson, Florence and the Machine, Freeform Five, The Glimmers, High Contrast, Hot8 Brass Band, James Yuill, Justin Robertson, Kraak & Smaak, Kissy Sell Out, Ladyhawke, The Lionheart Brothers, London Breakbeat Orchestra, Max Sedgley & The Shoots, Meat Katie, The Part Time Heroes, Roni Size "Reparazent" (live), Roisin Murphy, Super Nashwan, Scratch Perverts, Shuffle, and Tunng. Bloom's new location, 'Seven Springs', is set in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside just outside of Cheltenham. The new site is 2 miles from Cheltenham and 5 mins drive from junction 11a on the M5. The land Bloom is using is situated on a ridge which overlooks the City and views of the Malvern Hills off in the distance. Bloom hope to make Seven Springs their home for the foreseeable future.

Expect a whole array of fancy dress, impromptu performance, ferris wheel, fire shows, installations, live art, bingo, 1920's DJs in full costume, circus acts, designated kid zones, a range of holistic therapies in the Bloom Vegetable patch, markets and a selection of quality, organic eateries.
