V Festival, which takes place in just four weeks time at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, have added the final acts to complete the bill of breakthrough artists appearing on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2008 at the Sessions Stage.
The latest artists confirmed are Carbon/Silicon, Infadels, Sugarush Beat Company, Bryn Christopher, Attic Lights, Team Waterpolo, One Eskimo, Lost Boys, The Midway State, Julian Velard, The New York Fund, Gary Go, The Dodos, Iglu And Hartley, Das Pop, Sparkadia, The Rushes, Animal Kingdom, The Troubadors, Arno Carstens, The Hazey Janes, and Sons Of Albion.
Festival Director, Bob Angus stated, "Last year, the Sessions Stage was a hit with fans for an appetite for new music. This year we've got just as good a line-up and I'm really exciting about having bands like Das Pop and The Rushes that will no doubt be on the main stage in years to come."
They join a line-up of artists playing across the weekend including the headliners The Verve, and Muse who will be playing their only UK festival date. Acts also confirmed include Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics, Amy Winehouse, The Kooks, Maximo Park, Lenny Kravitz, The Feeling, Squeeze, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Zutons, Newton Faulkner, The Hoosiers, Reverend And The Makers, Duffy, and more. Tickets are still on sale for Staffordshire priced at £125 weekend pass with no camping, and £70 day ticket for Sunday only at both events. There are still combined coach, camping and weekend tickets are available for both events priced from £176.50 to £193.75 and can be purchased by clicking here.
