V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August 2008 has asked 10,000 fans via its website who they would most like to see take the stage together at this year's twin festivals.
The winner with 47% of the votes was the duet of Amy Winehouse and Lenny Kravitz.
Second place with 39% of the vote was for The Prodigy and Sam Sparro to join forces. The third most requested pairing with 14% of the vote was Estelle to join Ian Brown on stage.
Although not yet confirmed by the organisers it looks likely that festival goers could see a Winehouse and Kravitz collaboration with possibly an impromptu performance of 'Fly Away' or perhaps a rendition of 'Tears Dry On Their Own' at this year's festival.
The line-up of artists playing across the weekend includes the headliners The Verve, and Muse who will be playing their only UK festival date. Acts also confirmed include Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics, The Kooks, Maximo Park, The Feeling, Squeeze, The Prodigy, Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives, The Zutons, Newton Faulkner, The Hoosiers, Reverend And The Makers, Duffy, and more. To see which acts play at which site on which day, click for Hylands Park, Chelmsford or Weston Park, Staffordshire.
Tickets are still on sale for Staffordshire priced at £125 for a weekend pass with no camping.
There are still combined coach, camping and weekend tickets available for both events, with coaches for Staffordshire currently available from Bristol, Cardiff, Leicester, Newcastle, Swansea, and York.
Coach with camping and weekend tickets for those heading for Chelmsford are currently available from Bournemouth, Brighton, Ipswich, Southampton, and Peterborough.
