With three weeks to go, Bestival at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from Friday 5 September until Sunday 7 September 2008 has added more live acts and DJs to the line-up.

The new live acts are Neon Neon, Noah and the Whale, The Fairey Band, Ulrich Schnauss, Alphabeat, Grovesnor, Filthy Dukes, Primary 1, The Chemists, Roksahn, Barry Peters, Nately, Lark, Manouchska, Recommended Daily Allowance, Ragged String Band, Cookie The Cutter, Sparkle Motion, Babyhead, Barry Adamson, Deathray Trebuchet, Josh Weller, Katy Carr, Last Man Standing, Laxula, Lisa Knapp, Mules, Peyoti For President, Philippe And The G Spots, Pronghorn, Smokey Angle Shades, The Barker Band, The Big Pink, The Owls, The Pirate Band, The Shoes, The Worm, Urban Voodoo Machine, Venus Marz, and White Williams.

Newly added DJs joining the bill are: Roots Manuva & MK, Erol Alkan, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, Nigel Godrich, James Priestley (secretsundaze), Jon Carter, Ross Allen, Eddie Piller & Wayne Hemingway, Frank Tope, Gaz’s Rockin Blues, The Loose Cannons, Bobby Friction and Nihal’s Bestival Seaside Special, Greco Roman Sound System, Adventures Close To Home, South Rakkas Crew, Me & You, Kid Acne, Bugged Out Chilled Out, Different Strokes, Boom Monk Ben, Cocadisco, Crimes Against Pop, Dave Beer, Dave Vega, Didz Hammond, Goodbooks, DJ Scotch Egg, Shepdog, Heavenly Jukebox, Horse Meat Disco, It's Bigger Than, James Baillie, Michael Cook, Nadia Ksaibia, Greg’s Greats, The Shellac Sisters, DJ78 & The Shellac Collective, Matt Horne (Gavin and Stacey), Care In The Community Audiovisual, Nick Name, Daisy Heartbreaker, Dan Williams, Big Bamboo Tropical Polka, DJ Tom Hagar, DJ Chris Tofu, Penny Metal and Friends, and Plaster of Paris.

They join the line-up which already includes My Bloody Valentine who are the Friday night headliner (an English festival exclusive), with Amy Winehouse headlining Saturday, and Underworld headlining Sunday. Also playing are Aphex Twin (English Festival Exclusive), The Breeders, CSS, George Clinton And Funkadelic/Parliament, Gary Numan, The Human League (exclusive two performance concert), Pendulum (live), 808 State (live), Foals, Lee Scratch Perry, Baaba Mal, The Wedding Present, Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, and many more. As well as the music, Bestival has the world's biggest fancy dress party, the Bollywood cocktail bar, Jestival comedy tent, a farmers market, secret stages, kids area, Morris dancing, magical moments and more, which makes this affair one of the most colourful events on the festival calendar.
