This is the fifth year running that Kerrang hosts a night at the festival, with Juliette & The Licks being amongst previous headliners. Biffy Clyro will be doing a headline show at the Brixton Academy shortly after their performance in Iceland.
With just under four weeks to go until the festival starts there are a few more other additions to the bill. Icelandic singer songwriter Lay Low, Texan post-punk rock group White Denim, Brooklyn's Boy Crisis, Norwegian singer-songwriter Ane Brun, and five Icelandic acts - pop-duet BB&Blake, alt-rockers Lights on the Highway, The Viking Giant Show, We Made God and hard-rockers Atomstation.
Icelandic acts confirmed include Bob Justman, Borko, Klive, Tonik, Æla, Agent Fresco, Andrúm, Blindfold, Bloodgroup, Dikta, Dirty Projectors (US), Dísa, DLX ATX, Dr. Spock, Dýrðin, Esja, FM Belfast, For a Minor Reflection, Ghostigital, GusGus, Hjálmar, Hjaltalín, Jeff Who?, Mammút, Megas og Senuþjófarnir, Motion Boys, Naflakusk, Ólafur Arnalds, Parachutes, Retro Stefson, Reykjavik!, Rökkurró, Seabear, Singapore Sling, Skakkamanage, Skátar, Slugs, Sometime, Soundspell, Steed Lord, Sudden Weather Change, Swords Of Chaos, The Fist Fokkers, Ultra Mega Technobandið Stefán, and Vicky Pollard.
Icelandair offer a combined flights and five day festival pass for £299. An Iceland Airwaves Festival Pass (wristband) grants access to all festival shows and is valid for all five festival days.
