The headline acts for Gigbeth which takes place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November in Digbeth, Birmingham have been confirmed as Kano, and Fabio.

Gigbeth 2008, Birmingham's biggest music festival, has confirmed that MOBO winning rapper Kano and drum and bass pioneer Fabio will top the line-up.

Clare Edwards, Founder and Coordinator of Gigbeth said, "I'm delighted to announce that internationally revered artists Kano and Fabio have been added to the Headliners at Gigbeth. I feel that Kano and Fabio give the bill a bit more depth and add to the diversity that makes Gigbeth unique. This is without doubt the strongest lineup Gigbeth has ever had and with every passing year, Gigbeth is becoming more and more a symbol of the city's vibrant music scene."

Kano and Fabio top a bill that includes the Sugarhill Gang, Guillemots, Young Knives, Stanton Warriors, D:Ream, Miles and Erica Hunt (Wonderstuff), Oliver $, Miss Moneypennies, Subfocus, Pete Jordan, Joetbot, Anathema, The Hair, Miccoli, Dr Meaker, DJ Switch, and many more. Based in the Digbeth area of Birmingham, more than ten venues in Digbeth are used including an outdoor main stage at Millennium Point, venues range from the Barfly and the Custard Factory through to South Birmingham College and the Glee Club.

The event provides a platform for musicians representing all genres of music plus a music education conference on Thursday 6th November with key industry figures speaking on issues surrounding the music and events industry.

The organisers have teamed up with Music Live at the NEC which also runs that weekend to give visitors double the amount to do while they are in Brum. The music on the stages will also be linked into school and music service events in the region to encourage direct progression for young groups.
