T Break 2009 is on the hunt once again for the best new talent in Scotland. Any unsigned musical act is eligible to enter T Break, provided they are resident in Scotland, over the age of 18 and performing original material.
All submissions must be entered by Wednesday 15th April and will be heard by the T Break judging panel of industry experts, from DF Concerts, BBC Radio 1, HMV and PRS who will then select the line-up for the T Break Stage.
George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at Tennent's says, "We're looking forward to hearing from Scotland's freshest unsigned talent again this year. Each year we are amazed by the passion there is throughout Scotland for making new music and we are proud to be able to give those aspiring musicians a platform at T in the Park on the T Break Stage. We look forward to hearing what's out there this year and welcoming those 16 bands to T in the Park."
16 bands will then be invited to play on the T Break Stage at T in the Park on Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July where they will share a bill with Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Blur, The Killers and many more still to be announced.
All entrants need to visit www.tbreak.co.uk for full details on how to submit their work. Musicians can upload their demos via the website, or alternatively they will find instructions on how to make a postal submission.
