Grace Jones, Pet Shop Boys, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have been announced as the headliners for the fourth Latitude Festival which takes place at Henham Park Estate, Suffolk.

Jon Dunn - Music Arenas Booker, said, "Grace Jones and Nick Cave epitomise where Latitude is at, challenging, iconic and visually stunning. Over the next three months we'll be announcing over 100 more artists for this year's event, an event that has grown every year, and one that I feel will be our strongest musically yet."
The music stages which will play host to more than 100 acts include Obelisk, Uncut, and Sunrise Arenas and The Lake Stage where Huw Stephens will curate BBC Introducing acts.
Weekend tickets have gone on sale and are priced at £150, day tickets are priced at £60, and a campervan Pass is priced at £10. Children aged 12 or under will be eligible for free tickets for Latitude Festival 2009 when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

Across seven separate arenas, as well as making use of the woods ond lake, the festival will showcase comics, filmmakers, visual artists, poets, authors, actors, directors ond dancers in the Arts Arenas - The Comedy, Poetry, Literacy, Theatre, Music & Film, Dance and Cabaret Arena.
The Theatre Arena with an auditorium that has been designed to present a full schedule of contemporary physical, classical, performance and local productions bespoke to the festival. The theatre is no just contained within the confines of the stage, but throughout the festival. Latitude will play host to Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, The Bush Theatre, Paines Plough, Lyric Hammersmith, English Touring Theatre, nabokov, Picks Of The Pleasance, Tristan Bates Theatre, FUEL Theatre, Ben Moor, 1927, Third Eye Theatre, DryWrite, OSIP Theatre, The Rebel Cell, and National Student Drama Festival.
The Waterfront Stage the new name for the stage on the lake will once again showcose contemporary, modern donce from the world's companies and choreographers including Sadler's Wells, Royal Opera House, and The Irrepressibles.
Latitude celebrates the art of the written word in the Literary Arena with The School Of Life, Robin Ince's Book Club with friends, Blake Morrison, Geoff Dyer, Julie Myerson, Tibor Fischer, Afternoon Tea with Stuart Maconie and special guests, Mark Billingham, Richard Milward, Tobias Hill, Laura Dockrill, Luke Haines, Emma Kennedy, Shappi Khorsandi, and William Fiennes.
Other arena acts also appearing include Britten Sinfonia the first orchestra to appear at the festival. Appearing at the Outdoor Theatre will be Shlomo & The Vocal Orchestra, SharpWire, Faulty Optic, and Cambridge Touring Theatre.
The Poetrey Arena by the banks of the lake at the entrance to the main festival arena will have poetry from Andrew Motion (poet to the Queen), Brian Patten, Jackie Kay, Simon Armitage, Patience Agbabi, Luke Wright, Aisle16, Paul Farley, Luke Kennard, Polar Bear, Charlie Dark, Mik Artistik, Joel Stickley, Kathryn Simmonds, Dizraeli, Elvis McGonagall, Ross Sutherland, Tim Clare, and Dockers MC.
The Music & Film Arena will play host to screenings of award winning films, documentaries and shorts with Q&A sessions plus discussions with directors ond writers. These will be interspersed with musical treats and visuols. The line-up here includes LateNightTales, Mark Lamarr presents God's Jukebox, Jon Ronson, Richard DeDomenici, and Jeffrey Lewis will host a lecture on the Watchmen comic book.
The Comedy Arena's line-up wil include Jack Whitehall hosts: Latitude New Act Of The Year, and Guilty Pleasures. The Cabaret Arena will see performances including Zimboni, Deboroh Francis-White, I.O.U., Jessica Delfino, Cardinal Burns, and Watson and Oliver. The woods of Henham Park will hold a small and hidden stage that hosts intimate performances during the day, and music to dance the night away after dark with Feeling Gloomy, Beef Warehouse, Club De Fromage, and Dirt Disco all DJing.
Latitude takes place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2009, with the festival opening it's gates on Thursday 16th July for some limited non-musical entertainment.
Latitude festival goers can expect Music, Art, Comedy, Film, Literature, Theatre, Performance Art, Dance, Sculpture, Workshops, Restaurants and Waiter Service Bars.
Latitude isn't just about music, but has a full spectrum of art with individual arenas dedicated to film, theatre, poetry, literature, cabaret, and comedy, although no acts are confirmed for next year's event.
Latitude happens in the grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, and positioned near the most easterly English coastline between Southwold and Aldeburgh. Henham has been in the Rous family line since 1544.
