Kasabian have confirmed as headliners for next year's T in the Park.
Lead singer Tom Meighan said, "T in the Park holds a special place in our hearts, we've always said how much we'd love to headline it and now we are. We can't wait, we're going to play a blinder and it's going to be massive for us and for the crowd."
Geoff Ellis from DF Concerts added, "I'm chuffed to bits that we can announce one of our headliners this early on. Kasabian blow me away every time I see them and they're going to be amazing headliners. We've had lots of fans tell us they want to see Kasabian headline T in the Park so it's great to be able to give them an early Christmas present!"
Tickets for T in the Park 2010 will go on sale at 9am tomorrow at 2009 prices. They will be priced at £170 for a full weekend ticket (including Fri arena access). A full weekend with Thursday camping (Thurs - Sun) is priced at £180, and a Saturday and Sunday combined ticket (with no camping) is priced at £145.
eFestivals will have links for you to buy them tomorrow.
The seventeenth T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2010 from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July with festival goers able to expect a line-up of around 180 artists to play over 11 stages. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2010.
The festival offers a huge variety of music across seven main stages with large camping areas, as well as other attractions, including a large funfair, comedy tent, silent disco, stalls, and food markets.
