Kasabian to headline Poland's Open'er Festival

Kasabian have been announced as the second headlining act at Poland's Open'er Festival.

Kasabian have launched into 2010 with their explosive highly charged new single 'Vlad The Impaler', taken from their hit album 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', which is one of the biggest selling of the year . Following Kasabian's November arena tour, which was preceded by a 20-date summer run and 9 massive stadium shows with Oasis, they resume touring duties this year with a raft of festival appearances.

Mikolaj Ziolkowski, Open'er Festival Promoter said, "It was meant to happen – sooner or later. This band was appearing in all hottest fan discussions about the next edition, and this year was hailed as the most wanted festival band. Ladies and Gentlemen, Kasabian!"

Offering festival goers some top international musicians along with a host of Polish music and theatre acts, the 9th Heineken Open'er Festival takes place in Babie Doly Airfield, Gdynia, Poland for four days between Thursday 1st and Sunday 4th July 2010.

Open'er is Poland's largest music and performing arts festival, the total area of festival in Babie Doly airfield is 75 hectares of space with seven stages, around 120 artists, festival town with merchandising area, gastronomic zones, camp site, beach, sea and sun, space for sport activities and multimedia, NGO's, films, theatres and performances. The festival is easily accessible via low-cost airlines, it's a great alternative if you fail to get your hands on the UK festival ticket you wanted, and the organises promise a few new surprises for 2010.

Tickets are on sale at the following 'early bird' prices until 15th January:-
- 4-day ticket without camping: 320 PLN (approx. £70)
- 3-day ticket without camping: 260 PLN (approx. £57)
- 1-day tickets: 155 PLN (approx £34) available after Friday 15th January
- a camping pass: 40 PLN (approx. £9)

The early bird ticket offer ends on Friday 15th January when the price for a 3 day ticket rises to 290 PLN (approx. £63), with the 4 day Ticket priced at 390 PLN (approx. £86). To buy tickets, click here.
