Bachman Turner, and Joe Bonamassa are the latest acts to be announced for the new rock festival, High Voltage, featuring over 40 classic rock, progressive rock and metal acts playing over three stages.
Bachman-Turner Overdrive founders Randy Bachman and Fred Turner have reunited as Bachman Turner. They won't be joined by the rest of their bandmates, however; drummer Rob Bachman (Bachman's younger brother) and guitarist Blair Thornton have filed suit to prevent the duo from using the Bachman-Turner Overdrive name, but that won't stop them taking to the stage at London's Victoria Park.
During their time together BTO sold an estimated 20 million albums worldwide, and enjoyed hits like 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet', 'Takin' Care of Business', 'Roll on Down the Highway', 'Hey You' and 'Let It Ride'.
Also confirmed today to appear over the weekend of Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2010 will be Joe Bonamassa who alongside Jason Bonham, Glenn Hughes, and Derek Sherinian has also formed a supergroup called Black Country.
They join a line-up that has headliners ZZ Top, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, along with Foreigner, Heaven & Hell, Asia, Uriah Heep, Focus, Wishbone Ash, and more. For the full line-up details to date click here.
