eFestivals can exclusively reveal that the newly reformed Credit to The Nation are amongst the latest acts to be confirmed for this year's Endorse It In Dorset.

Subhumans
Joining Credit to The Nation over the weekend of Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August at a site near Shaftesbury, in Dorset will be one of the best punk acts to come from British shores Subhumans, and 8 piece roots rock reggae band, Rhythm-ites, veterans of the festival circuit throughout the nineties.

Yes, Endorse-It has done it again! The recently reformed, Credit to the Nation have chosen EiiD to be the first festival announced that they will play at this summer. Given CTTN’s links with the whole 'old school' festival vibe, Endorse It is the ideal event for them to make a comeback.

CTTN were one of the first commercial British hip-hop acts producing a distinctively British sound formed by Matthew (Matty) David Hanson aka MC Fusion with Tyrone (T-Swing) and Kelvin (Mista-G), the band achieved success in 1993 after several months of sponsorship by Chumbawamba, with whom they recorded the joint single, 'Enough Is Enough'.

MC Fusion's lyrics often tackled big issues such as the flaws in gangsta hip hop - sexism, racism, homophobia mixed with British politics and this will be the chance to hear again their songs including 'Call It What You Want', 'Teenage Sensation', 'Hear No Bullshit', 'Sowing the Seeds of Hatred', and 'Pressure'.

They join a line-up that includes The Damned, N.U.M.B, Vice Squad, Spunge, Pauline Black, Who's Afear'd, The Boot Hill All Stars, Surfin' Turnips, SubGiant, Pronghorn and Vile Evils (PWEI).

More up-and-coming local bands, Dorset favourites, international stars and DJs will be announced over the coming months for the festival's three tented stages that run into the early hours.

Famous for it's 'old school' festival vibe, Endorse It also features 'Punk Karaoke' where all-comers can sing on stage with a live band, beer tents with proper beer and cider, a 'Ladies Day' for those that like to dress up, and side shows and entertainers - all designed to appeal to all ages including families.
