GuilFest announce Hawkwind, and Hadouken!

Hawkwind, and Hadouken! are amongst the latest acts to be announced for GuilFest.

Legendary Psychedelic Rock originators Hawkwind are confirmed to headline the 2nd Stage on Saturday 17th July. Founded by Dave Brock in 1969, Hawkwind are one of the truly quintessential English psychedelic rock bands and will be bringing to GuilFest a selection of music spanning the whole spectrum of the bands 40 year career. With a spectacular array of projections, dance, mime and theatre.... expect a psychedelic rock show with a few surprises!

Hadouken! will appear at GuilFest for the first time, supporting Orbital on the main stage on Friday 16th July 2010.

London duo Chase & Status will be performing a headlining DJ Set at the Funky End dance tent on the Sunday.

Kid Creole And The Coconuts will be celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2010 and have been confirmed for the Main Stage on Saturday.

Today's announcement is completed by the news that local alternative rockers Draven will be performing on the Main Stage on Friday afternoon.

They're the latest additions to a line-up that includes headliners for this year's festival Orbital, The Human League and Status Quo, appearing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively, as well as N-Dubz and Just Jack.

There are many more acts to be announced for all the stages soon, including the Rock Cave and Dance tent, as well as top performers for both the eFestivals comedy and theatre tents.

The family friendly festival will take place from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th July 2010. Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, or £110 weekend with camping. Children between 12 and 16 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult. Campervan tickets are priced at £60.

Day tickets are available Friday adult tickets are priced at £40, Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at £45. Kids tickets are priced at £30 for each of the three days.
