Marcus Bonfanti and the Bad Boys
The new stage can be found by leaving the Meeting Point and heading towards West Holt Stage then taking the first right towards Pyramid Stage and Bourbon Street is right on the corner (the same position that the Jazz Lounge used to be in). Bourbon Street will offer festival goers lively jazz 'n' blues with sexy saxophones, rolling drum beats and dirty bass lines to get the audience dancing, alongside a few smooth grooves. Genres like Filthy Swing, Jump Jive and Texas Boogie Blues are just some of the styles represented by the line-up.

The line-up is expected to feature some up and coming stars and some veteran performers with a line-up of Jazz performers including Carmen Ghia and The Hotrods, Nicola Farnon, Ben Martin Quartet, Jacqui Wicks, Djangonauts, Kubla Khan, Ryan Taylor, The Wagon Train, The Dizzy Club, Top Shelf Jazz, Bex Marshall, and Leon O'Doherty .

Alongside a line-up of blues that is expected to include acts such as Charley Macaulay, Dave Arcari, Bex Marshall, Martin Harley Band, King King, Aynsley Lister Band, The Oli Brown Band, Brigitte DeMeyer, P-A-U-L, Marcus Bonfanti, Sandi Thom, and Stephen Dale Petit . The official line-up of acts has not yet been announced by the Festival.

From 12pm on Sunday Bourbon Street Jazz 'n' Blues will be offering festival goers the chance to witness these musicians come together to present sounds of gospel for two hours.

The Bar at Bourbon Street Jazz 'n' Blues will be modelled on an original Bourbon Street bar straight out of New Orleans and will feature more than twenty different bourbons, plus ice cold beers, champagnes, fresh ground coffee and a selection of signature cocktails including the 'Hurricane' and the 'Hand Grenade' to help make your visit to Bourbon Street the best you make all weekend.

The full schecule with times, dates, opening and closing times will be available soon.

Glastonbury Festival is headlined by U2, Muse, and Stevie Wonder on a bill which also includes Dizzee Rascal, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, Orbital, Shakira, Pet Shop Boys, Scissor Sisters, Seasick Steve, Jackson Browne, Faithless, Jack Johnson, Ray Davies, Slash, The Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, Florence And The Machine, and many, many more.

The event will mark the 40th anniversary of the Music and Arts Festival at Worthy Farm, Somerset, where Michael Eavis first opened his gates for business in September 1970. Glastonbury Festival runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside. Festival tickets were priced at £185 and have all SOLD OUT.

eFestivals' Glastonbury World Cup 2010 in support of WaterAid

Once again this summer players, mainly members of the eFestivals forums, are coming together to be part of the England vs The Rest Of The World football match, which will be raising funds for WaterAid on Thursday 24th June at the Festival.

Festival organiser Michael Eavis has challenged the event to raise £6000 for WaterAid and thus provide enough money to provide the cost of building three water wells. Water is something that we all take for granted but other people aren't so lucky.

The event begins at 1pm at the Pyramid Stage field with prematch entertainment from Hobo Jones & the Junkyard Dogs who will be doing a 40 minute set with the World Cup match will start after that.

WaterAid will again be on hand with collection buckets at the game, and people who can't make it to the event can make an online donation at http://www.justgiving.com/glastoworldcup2010.
